Chaminda Gunasekara – Lyndhurst Specialist

Chaminda migrated to Australia in 2000 and soon found out about the hardness to accomplish the “Great Australian Dream”.  In 2007 he managed to enter into the property market after buying his first home. After completing his Bachelor of Computing at the Deakin University, Chaminda went on to gain his Agents representative Certificate and in 2009 he joined the industry as a Property Manager in order to get the stepping stone to become a Sales Consultant. During that time he studied both property management and sales in order to polish his knowledge and skills.

In 2010 he was fully equipped to become a Sales Consultant. So he joined the Ray White real estate in Cranbourne. Chaminda has been living in and around Cranbourne for the last seven years and knows the area well and has a large network of friends living in the area. He specializes in the Lyndhurst and Brookland Greens areas and has a broad knowledge about the surrounding suburbs as well.

For the last five months (March 2012 – July 2012) Chaminda has sold more properties in the Rise Estate (Lyndhurst) than any other agent. Also he has sold a total of 13 properties in Lyndhurst in that five month period. “My goal is to become the number 1 real estate agent in Lyndhurst and Brookland Greens estate in Cranbourne by selling most number of houses over vendor expectations”

Chaminda realizes the emotions that are attached to the home that a client is going to sell and the amount of stress involved in the process. Also he knows about how hard and tough it is to enter into the property market because he has done it in the hard way. “My sellers and buyers know that they will be getting a fair price for a property because I care for the seller, feels empathy and have genuine interest towards the buyer and cares about the outcome of the whole sale process from top to bottom. I take this profession as people business and in order to be successful one should master the art of treating people fairly and rightly”.

While working in Ray White Cranbourne he adheres to the support program policies that are being adopted by the company. He believes that the key success factors such as control, discipline, training and being responsible will depend on the own individuals dedication and will power.

“Ethics play a major part of my day today activities and mainly in my profession because of that I always endeavor to protect the rule of thumb of ethics – knowingly do no harm”. This is one of his other characteristic that makes Chaminda a first-class Sales Consultant.

Chaminda resides in Lynbrook and at his leisure times enjoys being around his family; with daughter Nethu and wife Iresha. He likes almost all sports, cricket and tennis being his favorites. Also loves to go to the MCG to watch AFL games during the season.
